Benefit for Children’s Home in Bali
The foundation organizes Giri Asih Netherlands Sunday, October 30 at Festino Norderstedtplein in Zwijndrecht to a benefit evening to support the orphanage Pohsanten in Bali in Indonesia. The foundation helps orphans in Indonesia among others.
Visitors to the charity evening from 16.00 hours to enjoy a delicious Indonesian buffet. Yvonne Keuls writer then reads from his own work. Also sells and signs her book. The proceeds of the sale goes largely to the orphanage project of the foundation Giri Asih. In addition, the public appearances of artists experience, including singer Justine Pelmelay. She was known for her performances at the Swinging Soul Machine, The Jody Singers and of course her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest.

About the foundation
Giri Asih foundation built an orphanage in Bali Pohsanten. This was possible thanks to financial support from Lions Rhoon-Old Meuse, Wild Geese and NCDO. “Kepala Desa”, the mayor of Pohsanten, opened the orphanage on June 20, 2010 officially. Meanwhile there is also a kindergarten, library and computer building. This was possible thanks Impulsis the counter for private initiatives in the field of development. These facilities are not just for the children from the home. The village children and their parents use it. Thus, an improved position in society is achieved.
